Results and races
Days of results, single races, the newest results and race search.
A result is a race with its finishing order: every runner who took part, in order, with its position, how it ended (finished, pulled up, fell and so on), the distance beaten, its cloth and draw, and the horse, jockey, trainer and owner, each with our own id.
The common jobs
- A day's results: GET /v1/results/{date}, meeting by meeting, filter with
country. - Yesterday, on any plan: GET /v1/results/yesterday.
- The newest as they are declared: GET /v1/results/latest.
- One race in full: GET /v1/races/{race_id}.
- Races by date range, nation, course, race type, going or surface: GET /v1/races/search.
Good to know
- Dates are the course's own calendar day. Times are as published at the course.
- The archive starts on 1 January 2022, the year the United States began publishing the full finishing order.
- A race not yet declared shows its conditions with
result_availablefalse and an empty finishing order. winning_timeandclassare null where a nation does not publish them. Never guessed. See Coverage.
