What each plan reads, its rate limit and its allowance.

When you reach one
Over the rate: 429 rate_limited, with Retry-After in seconds. Allowance used: 429 quota_exceeded, saying when it comes back (00:00 UTC each day on the free key, the 1st of the month on the Results plan). GET /v1/usage shows where you stand and never counts against you.
